First trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s Nightmare Alley showcases Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett

September 17, 2021 by EJ Moreno

Guillermo del Toro is a modern master of mystery and suspense, and in the first look at his latest film, he promises more of that signature style.

Nightmare Alley is the latest from the Oscar-winning filmmaker, and it’s boasting an all-star cast and a twisted tale. Nightmare Alley sees Bradley Cooper as an ambitious carny who is a master of manipulating people. He meets his match when he comes across a female psychiatrist, Cate Blanchett, and the pair begin a dangerous game.

Del Toro is at the helm of the film, coming off his latest film, The Shape of Water, which scored him Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture. Alongside Cooper and Blanchett, the film also includes Toni Collette, Willem Dafoe, Richard Jenkins, Rooney Mara, Ron Perlman, and David Strathairn. Check out the trailer here…
