Friends are forever as toys battle tech in Toy Story 5 trailer

February 19, 2026 by Ricky Church

Disney and Pixar has released the full trailer for Toy Story 5, reuniting Woody with Buzz Lightyear, Jessie and the gang after the house is invaded by tech toys.

Toy Story 5 is directed by Andrew Stanton and Kenna Harris from a script written by Stanton. Tom Hanks and Tim Allen return to voice Woody and Buzz alongside Joan Cusack as Jessie, Tony Hale as Forky, Wallace Shawn as Rex, John Ratzenberger as Hamm, Blake Clark as Slinky, Jeff Bergman and Anna Vocino as the Potato Heads, Annie Potts as Bo Peep, Bonnie Hunt as Dolly, Melissa Villaseñor as Karen Beverly, John Hopkins as Mr. Pricklepants, Kristen Schaal as Trixie and Keanu Reeves as Duke Kaboom.

Greta Lee (The Morning Show) stars as Lilypad, the educational tech toy that threatens the toys existence and purpose as Bonnie and her friends become obsessed with the popular tablet. Also starring is Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, Ghostbusters alum Ernie Hudson as the new voice of Combat Carl, Craig Robinson as a GPS hippo Atlas, Shelby Rabara as camera toy Snappy, Scarlett Spears as Bonnie, Mykal-Michelle Haris as Blaze and Matty Matheson as Dr. Nutcase. Watch the trailer below…

The toys are back and this time, Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang’s jobs are challenged when they come face-to-face with Lilypad, a brand-new tablet device that arrives with her own disruptive ideas about what is best for their kid, Bonnie. Will playtime ever be the same?

Toy Story 5 will be released in theatres on June 19th 2026.
