Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman reportedly confirmed for Flashpoint movie

September 21, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Back in August it was reported that Wonder Woman is being lined up for a role in Warner Bros.’ Flashpoint movie, and now it seems we have confirmation from Deadline that Gal Gadot will indeed appear in the film alongside her Justice League co-star Ezra Miller.

Assuming that Warner Bros. is going to take inspiration from the Flashpoint comic book, the news of Wonder Woman’s involvement shouldn’t be too surprising, given that the Amazon Princess has a fairly prominent role in the story.

For those unfamiliar with Flashpoint, it sees Barry Allen waking up in a vastly different DC universe, which includes a Thomas Wayne Batman and Martha Wayne Joker, and a Wonder Woman who is leading the Amazons in a world war against Aquaman and the Atlanteans.

Before Flashpoint, we’ll see Gadot back as Wonder Woman in Justice League this November, followed by Wonder Woman 2 in December 2019.
