Glass star Anya Taylor-Joy would love to return for a sequel

January 31, 2019 by Samuel Brace

Anya Taylor-Joy, one of the stars of Glass, says that she would happily return for a sequel if it was ever a possibility.

Anya Taylor-Joy has continued her relationship with director M. Night Shyamalan by returning for the film Glass after first appearing in the Unbreakable sequel Split. While it seems unlikely that a sequel to Glass will ever be made after Shyamalan’s comments on the subject, Taylor-Joy would certainly be up for it.

Speaking in a recent interview with ComicBookMovie alongside her co-star Spencer Treat Clark, the actress said: “We would both be so happy to come back, for Night, for anything. I think we’d both read shopping lists for him, but we know nothing (about what comes next) and that is actually part of the beauty of Mr. Shyamalan is that he actually respects us as an audience, and he wants us to have the experience. So, trust me when, if, we come back for another movie, we will be the last to know.”

If a sequel to Glass never materializes, perhaps Taylor-Joy will get her wish and find herself working with the unpredictable director in another project. How about you, would you like to see more films in the Unbreakable/Glass universe?

Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men. This riveting culmination of his worldwide blockbusters will be produced by Shyamalan and Jason Blum.

Glass sees the return of Bruce Willis (David Dunn), Samuel L. Jackson (Elijah Price), Spencer Treat Clark (Joseph Dunn) and Charlayne Woodard (Mrs. Price) from Unbreakable and James McAvoy (Kevin Wendell Crumb) and Anya Taylor-Joy (Casey Cooke) from Split, while Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story) also stars.
