Gotham wraps production on fifth and final season, new cast photo released

December 2, 2018 by Gary Collinson

Fox has announced that filming is now complete on the fifth and final season of the Batman prequel series Gotham, and to mark the occasion TV Line has unveiled the above new promotional image featuring series regulars Robin Lord Taylor (Oswald Cobbleplot), Cory Michael Smith (Ed Nygma), Donal Logue (Harvey Bullock), Ben McKenzie (Jim Gordon), David Mazouz (Bruce Wayne), Chris Chalk (Lucius Fox), Camren Bicondova (Selina Kyle), Sean Pertwee (Alfred Pennyworth) and Erin Richards (Barbara Kean).

Meanwhile, David Mazouz shared a photo to Instagram featuring himself alongside co-star Sean Pertwee and celebrating their final day working together on the DC show.

“Today marks the very last time I will work with this man on Gotham,” said Mazouz. “It’s hard for me to know what to say. Sometimes I feel like Sean knows me better than I know myself. He always knows what I’m thinking and feeling, always making sure I’m ok, which I think is a testament to how close our relationship has been over the last third of my life. And over those five years, I’ve learned what it means to be a gentleman, professional, and unabashedly talented from this man. I am sad my days with him have come to an end but I am eternally grateful for my experience with him and happy for the people who will be recipients of his light next. Thanks Sean.”
