Sony Pictures has released a featurette from Gran Turismo, giving us our first look at Neill Blomkamp’s upcoming drama which is based on the life of British racing driver Jann Mardenborough and the hit PlayStation video game series.
The featurette sees stars Archie Madekwe, Orlando Bloom, and David Harbour take us behind the scenes of the movie and discuss what to expect from the video game adaptation. Check it out below…
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
Gran Turismo features a cast that includes David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou.
Gran Turismo is set for release on August 11th.
