Green Lantern Corps. is “still in the works”, according to David S. Goyer

January 10, 2018 by Jordan Jones

Given the poor reception to Justice League, it’s natural to be worried about the status of some of the previously announced films in the DC film lineup. However, according to David Goyer, we can at least rest assured that Green Lantern Corps. is still in active development.

Speaking to IGN during the 2018 Television Critics Association press tour, Goyer — who is co-writing Green Lantern Corps — said that the film is “still in the works”.

When asked about when fans can expect future updates on the film, Goyer stated, “I don’t know. Who knows, especially with what’s currently going on with the DC universe? There’s obviously a whole recalibration happening with that right now.”

This is definitely exciting news for Green Lantern fans, though some may wish that Warner Bros. would simply wipe the slate clean. The DC Extended Universe is in a very odd place right now, and it’s going to be very interesting to see where this shared universe ends up in a few years.

What do you think about this news? Are you happy that we will be getting Green Lantern on screen, or do you just wish Warner Bros. would start over from scratch? Let us know in the comments below…

… You can find Jordan on Twitter, and Facebook.
