Gwyneth Paltrow thinks she could be replaced as Pepper Potts in Iron Man franchise by a younger actress

January 3, 2015 by Thomas Roach

Gwyneth Paltrow has played the character of Pepper Potts on four occasions now in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, The Avengers and Iron Man 3, and while she’s interested in returning to the role again, it appears that she’s unsure about what the future holds and thinks she could find herself being replaced by a young actress.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Paltrow was asked about reprising her role in future Iron Man and Avengers projects, to which she replied: “I don’t know, I’d like to do it. But they might swap me out for an 18-year-old Pepper Potts or something.”

As yet Gwyneth Paltrow has not been confirmed to appear in this year’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, or 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. Would you like to see her back in either of those films? Let us know your thoughts…
