September 7, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Coinciding with its world premiere this weekend, a poster and trailer have arrived online for writer-director Tory Jones’ indie slasher The Boy From Below.

The film sees a group of horror-obsessed friends finding their annual Halloween movie marathon disrupted when a creepy killer linked to their town’s dark past returns and the friends become trapped in their very own horror film.

The cast includes Spooky Madison, Dee Wallace, Leah Voysey, Chaney Marrow, Felissa Rose, Jace Carson, and Jack Norman; check the trailer out below, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting…

As Halloween descends upon the sleepy town of Carpenter Falls, a group of horror movie nerds plan for their annual scary movie marathon. But when a mythic figure from the town’s jaded past returns, Quinn Curtis and her friends find themselves in the center of a real life Scary Movie.
