The producers of the upcoming Harry Potter and the Cursed Child West End stage production have announced that Jamie Parker, Paul Thornley and Noma Dumezweni will play Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.

“I’m so excited with the choice of casting for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child,” states J.K. Rowling. “I can’t wait to see Jamie, Noma and Paul bring the adult Harry, Hermione and Ron to life on stage next summer.”

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.
Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been scripted by BAFTA-winner Jack Thorne (Skins, This Is England ’86) from an original story by Rowling. It is set to hit the West End in the summer of 2016. Visit the official website here.
