Hiya Toys unleashes Mecha King Ghidorah Exquisite Basic Series figure from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah

May 18, 2025 by Amie Cranswick

Hiya Toys has unveiled the Exquisite Basic Series Mecha King Ghidorah action figure from the 18th entry in Toho’s Godzilla franchise Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. It is available to pre-order now, priced at $120; take a look here…

The latest item of original Classic Godzilla! Now Mecha King Ghidorah from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah (1991) joins Hiya Toys EXQUISITE BASIC Series!

Standing 33CM tall, this brand new EXQUISITE BASIC series Mecha King Ghidorah figure faithfully recreates the on-screen appearance. The movie-accurate color scheme highlights the contrast between the golden organic scales and the cold, silver-grey mechanical armor, perfectly conveying its imposing presence, especially in a wing-spreading pose.

The figure showcases the distinct semi-mechanized transformation. Its mechanical head, armed with devastating laser cannons, burns with a savage, razor-sharp glare. Wings have evolved into colossal metal constructs, delivering unmatched aerial dominance and ironclad defense. From the texture of the biological elements to the intricate details of the mechanical parts, every aspect has been meticulously sculpted, delivering the overwhelming presence of Mecha King Ghidorah. This cyborg behemoth merging biology and cutting-edge machinery—was thus born, making its spectacular entrance during the final battle in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
