Hugh Dancy joins Fifty Shades Darker as Christian Grey’s psychiatrist

Hannibal star Hugh Dancy has signed on to the cast of the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel Fifty Shades Darker, where he is set to play Dr. John Flynn, psychiatrist to Christian Grey.

James Foley (Glengarry Glen Ross) is directing the sequel, which is being shot back-to-back with the third instalment Fifty Shades Freed. Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini all return from the first movie, while other new additions include Kim Basinger (L.A. Confidential), Bella Heathcote (Pride and Prejudice and Zombies), Brant Daugherty (Pretty Little Liars), Eric Johnson (The Knick), Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf) and Arielle Kebbel (Ballers).

Fifty Shades Darker is set for release on February 10th 2017, with Fifty Shades Freed following on February 9th 2018.
