Imogen Poots joins the IRA in trailer for Baltimore

Icon Film Distribution and Eclipse Pictures have released a poster and trailer for writer-directors Joe Lawlor and Christine Molloy’s upcoming thriller Baltimore.

The film is inspired by the true story of Rose Dugdale (Imogen Poots), an English debutante who rebelled against her privileged upbringing leading her down a militant path which seen her volunteering for the Provisional IRA and participating in an armed raid on an Irish estate. Based on the infamous true story of the English heiress who became a revolutionary. Debutante Rose Dugdale (Imogen Poots) enjoys a life of wealth and privilege, but her rebellious nature soon leads her down a militant path. Amongst the political turmoil of the 1970s, her sympathy towards the IRA’s conflict evolves into radicalisation, culminating in an armed raid on an Irish estate with three comrades. However, when her simple heist turns violent, is Rose prepared to face the devastating consequences?

Joining Poots in the cast are Tom Vaughan-Lawlor, Lewis Brophy, Jack Meade, Patrick Martins, Dermot Crowley, Andrea Irvine, John Kavanagh, Flynn Gray, Martha Breen, Carrie Crowley, Simon Coury, and Vanessa Ifediora.

Baltimore is set for release on March 22nd.
