Focus Home Interactive have announced that their team based, tactical FPS Insurgency: Sandstorm will start its pre-order Beta Test 2 on 30th August. Anyone who wants to take part in this upcoming Beta Test 2 can pre-order on Steam now and gain a 10% discount. There’s an additional 10% discount if you own the original Insurgency. By using lethal close quarters combat and objective-oriented multiplayer gameplay, Insurgency: Sandstorm provides a hardcore depiction of combat. Players will rush through the war-torn environments of a fictional Middle East country coordinating support with team mates to outmaneuver and gun down the enemy.
Insurgency: Sandstorm features:
- Character and weapon customisation to show off your skill.
- Peek around corners, breach doors and use smoke to cover your advance, and if things get too hairy, call in air support.
- Huge maps for up to 16-versus-16 player game modes, or 8 player co-operative against AI.
- Competitive multiplayer features including matchmaking, broadcasting UI and replays.
- Machine gun mounted drivable vehicles.
Beta Test 2 starts next week with the game releasing fully on Windows PC this September. Insurgency: Sandstorm will be coming to Xbox One and PS4 next year.
