Jameela Jamil says she accepts “every ounce of shade” regarding She-Hulk’s Titania look

July 11, 2022 by EJ Moreno

A first look at Jameela Jamil in She-Hulk: Attorney At Law dropped, and the internet was quick to comment on it. Some of them were hyping the actress’s appearance in the show, while others made comments about her actual appearance.

Sadly, some of the comments were a bit mean toward her look, particularly her hairstyle. The negative comments also extended to the hairstylist involved in the show, something Jamil did not take lightly.

Regarding the release of an official image of the villain, Jamil took to Twitter to explain, saying she can “accept every ounce of shade here.”

“Omg this photo,” Jamil wrote on Saturday. “Guys… I accept every ounce of shade here, but in defense of my excellent hair stylist, this is just my hair after a 14-hour stunt day in Atlanta heat. Just after being upside down. She did a *great* job on the show I promise. I love her. Boobs look ok tho?”

It wasn’t just her hair, but her actual costume that some fans didn’t enjoy. In response to a fan who was later critical of her outfit, the actress replied that: “You’ll get it when the show comes out. It fits the character.”

We shall see the final product in action when She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ next month.
