James Gunn-produced supervillain horror Brightburn gets a new trailer

March 6, 2019 by Amie Cranswick

A new trailer has arrived online for upcoming supervillain horror Brightburn. Directed by David Yarovesky and produced by James Gunn, the film looks set to deliver a dark spin on the Superman origin story and stars Jackson A. Dunn as a young Clark Kent-esque character who is being raised by Elizabeth Banks and David Denman, only to choose a very different path to the Man of Steel; check it out here…

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

Brightburn is set for release on May 24th and sees David Yarovesky directing a cast that includes Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, Meredith Hagner, Steve Agee, Becky Wahlstrom and Stephen Blackehart.
