Druring a promotional interview for his new television series Red Road, Jason Momoa birefly spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about his upcoming role as Aquaman in the DC Cinematic Universe, which is set to begin with a cameo in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, leading in to The Justice League Part One in 2017 and a subsequent solo movie in 2018.
“Justice League is quite a ways off. We don’t have scripts and stuff like that. I’ll bring my professionalism there. I’ll bring my sense of humor. Hopefully people will like that. If they don’t I’ll modify it.”
Momoa also spoke about the image reveal of him in full costume as Aquaman, stating that: “Michael Wilkinson, the head costume designer, he created all of that. I basically just showed up and he made it happen. And It’s all Zack, through his genius mind.”
Momoa’s Aquaman will first be seen in Dawn of Justice, which is set to open on March 25th 2016.
