Jason Statham is the ultimate commander for World of Tanks this Christmas

November 29, 2024 by Andrew Newton

The 6th December sees the start of the World of Tanks Holiday Ops 2025 event and award-winning developer and publisher Wargaming has announced that action star Jason Statham is this season’s Ambassador and without a doubt the ultimate tank commander.  You can watch Jason Statham in the new Holiday Ops live-action trailer below, where he becomes the stunt double for Father Christmas.

Jason Statham, renowned for action films including The Transporter, The Expendables, The Meg and the Fast & Furious franchise, brings his rugged persona and sharp one-liners to this year’s event.  From 6th December through to 13th January, players can head on over to the newly updated festive hangar where they will be able to receive special assignments, battle missions and even earn rewards from the great action hero himself.

“I have driven almost every type of vehicle in my career, but blasting around in a tank is the most exhilarating,” says Jason Statham. “That is why I’ve teamed up with Wargaming to be World of Tanks‘ newest Holiday Ops Ambassador, and I’m more than up for the challenge. It’s a great opportunity to bring some festive fun and a bit of high-stakes action to players all over the world.”

Log in to World of Tanks this December and take part in the Holiday Ops 2025 event.
