Coming hot on the heels of the news that Boardwalk Empire star Jack Huston is set to take on the lead role of Eric Draven in Relativity Media’s long-gestating remake of The Crow, it is now being reported that Jessica Brown Findlay (Downton Abbey) will play his fiancee Shelly Webster.
The Crow is being directed by Corin Hardy, who is the latest in a string of directors to be attached. According to The Crow creator James O’Barr, it will be less a remake of the 1994 movie than a straight-up adaptation of his original comic book series, and filming on the project will get underway soon.
