Joe Quesada variant for The Life of Captain Marvel #3 revealed

June 11, 2018 by Gary Collinson

This July, Margaret Stohl and Carlos Pacheco will come together to bring Carol Danvers a new story in The Life of Captain Marvel, and Marvel has now unveiled a special variant cover for the third issue by the publisher’s Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada.

“The understanding of Carol as a hero is fundamentally tied to her strength, but being strong is not entirely the same as having Kree powers,” states writer Margaret Stohl with regards to the five-part series. “So it’s been a really interesting journey looking into the nature of Carol’s strength; what makes her strong as a person and as a hero? Where is that all coming from?”

The Life of Captain Marvel #1 will go on sale on July 4th, with issue #3 arriving on September 19th.
