Josh Brolin will star as a fictional version of himself in new Hulu series

June 24, 2018 by Gary Collinson

2018 is certainly proving to be a huge year for Josh Brolin. He’s defeated Earth’s Mightiest Heroes as the villainous Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War, tussled with Ryan Reynolds’ Merc with a Mouth as Cable in Deadpool 2, and returns to the big screen once again this coming week in the Sicario sequel Sicario: Day of the Soldado.

Now, speaking to The New York Times (via The Playlist), Brolin has revealed that he has just sold a TV show – dubbed ‘The Untitled Josh Brolin Project’ – to streaming service Hulu, which will see him portraying a fictionalised version of himself.

The series, which is said to be in the very early stages of development, will follow “a soulless movie star named Josh Brolin who leaves Hollywood, has an ayahuasca trip and becomes a self-help guru.”
