Kaiju Cleaner Simulator coming to clean up in early 2026

October 17, 2025 by Andrew Newton

Indie developer One More Time has unveiled Kaiju Cleaner Simulator, a co-op sim for up to 4 players that focuses on the big clean-up after the heroes have disposed of the monsters threatening their cities. Inspired by the anime Kaiju No. 8, Kaiju Cleaner Simulator will have players disposing of colossal monsters with specialised equipment. Watch the new trailer below….

When massive kaiju cause chaos and rampage through cities, we are always treated to being the ones who have to fight them, to stop them in their tracks and be proclaimed the hero. We never stop to think of who would have to clean up the mess we leave afterwards…. until now. With Kaiju Cleaner Simulator, it’s up to players to restore order to cities by chopping up the remains of the kaiju, extracting valuables such as organs and cleaning up the deadly toxins.

Players will have access to a diverse range of heavy-duty equipment to use, from chainsaws to extraction machines. Make sure to wash away the slime, blood, and hazardous waste as thoroughly as possible to get a bigger paycheck. With bigger paychecks come better upgrades and better equipment.

Being precise in the clean up is another way to get better contracts and more money. The bones and organs of kaiju can make lots of money if carefully extracted, and some kaiju will even contain rare crystals that when removed from the gunk and goo carefully enough can maximise profits.

“After watching Kaiju No. 8, we thought maybe being a kaiju cleaner is even tougher than being their exterminator. It’s a job for real tough guys. Our game is for those who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty and turn chaos into fun,” says One More Time.

Kaiju Cleaner Simulator will launch on Steam in early 2026 and is available now to add to your wishlist.
