Back in June, FOX announced that it is developing a new 24 series, which will be based around a twentysomething male protagonist who works alongside a seasoned female agent. The initial report suggested that the door was open for Keifer Sutherland to guest star, but the actor has now revealed that 24: Live Another Day was his final outing as Jack Bauer.
“24 is definitely over now for me,” Sutherland tells the BBC. “It’s one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given as an actor, but it’s moving on without me, I want to do other things.”
