Keiynan Lonsdale to play Wally West in The Flash season 2

August 5, 2015 by Gary Collinson

Australian actor Keiynan Lonsdale has nabbed the role of Wally West for the upcoming second season of The CW’s hit DC series The Flash, where he’ll appear as a season regular.

“Just like when we met Grant for the first time, we instantly knew Keiynan embodied all the heart and courage of a hero,” said executive producer Andrew Kreisberg. “We are so excited to be bringing this much-beloved character onto the show.”

West is the second additional incarnation of The Flash to join Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen for season two, with Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) set to play the Golden Age Flash Jay Garrick.

The Flash returns to The CW for its second season on Tuesday, October 6th.
