Deadline is reporting that Kelly Macdonald (Trainspotting, Boardwalk Empire) is set to star in an episode of Netflix’s Black Mirror. Details on the episode are being kept under wraps, but it is titled ‘Hated in the Nation’ and will be directed by James Hawes (Doctor Who, Penny Dreadful).
Netflix has ordered a twelve-episode season of the anthology show, which is created and written by Charlie Brooker. It has previously been announced that Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle) and Mackenzie Davis (The Martian) will star in an episode to be directed by Owen Harris (Kill Your Friends), while Joe Wright (Pan) will helm an episode starring Bryce Dallas Howard (Jurassic World) and Alice Eve (Star Trek Into Darkness).
