Back in May, Kevin Bacon revealed that he was keen on returning to the Tremors franchise, and now that is set to become a reality, with Deadline reporting that Bacon will reprise his role for a TV adaptation of the cult 1990 film.
The series will take place 25 years after the original movie, with Bacon reprising the role of Valentine McKee as well as executive producing alongside Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions. Andrew Miller will pen the script.
Released in 1990, Tremors has spawned four sequels – most recently this year’s Tremors 5: Bloodlines, along with a shortlived small screen spinoff Tremors: The Series in 2003.
