Leaked Daredevil image appears to confirm Born Again plot point

August 20, 2018 by Gary Collinson

With the third season of Daredevil expected to arrive on Netflix before the end of the year, an alleged image from the Marvel show has leaked online, which shows Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock in his black season one costume, watching on as another Daredevil – in classic red attire – ransacks the offices of the New York Bulletin.

Leaked image from Daredevil Season 3 suggests a Daredevil impostor (like in Born Again)

It has been said on several occasions that season three of Daredevil will draw heavily from the ‘Born Again’ comic book arc, and this leaked image certainly seems to confirm that fact.

If you’re unfamiliar with the ‘Born Again’ storyline from Frank Miller’s run on the comics, the story sees Wilson Fisk discovering Daredevil’s secret identity and setting out to destroy Matt Murdock’s life – and as part of that scheme, the Kingpin also has an imposter pose as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

As for who it might be under the horns in the above image, Bullseye would seem a good bet, seeing as the villain is reportedly set to feature in the new season, played by Wilson Bethel.

Season three of Daredevil sees Charlie Cox (Matt Murdoch/Daredevil), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page), Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and Vincent D’Onofrio (Wilson Fisk/The Kingpin) all returning to the cast alongside new additions Joanne Whalley (Wolf Hall) as Sister Maggie and Wilson Bethel (Hart of Dixe), potentially as the villain Bullseye.
