Liam Neeson set for a cross-country car chase in Mongoose

May 26, 2024 by Gary Collinson

Liam Neeson looks set to follow the upcoming remake of The Naked Gun by returning to the action thriller genre for Mongoose, a package which has been picked up by Amazon Prime Video at Cannes.

Set to be directed by Neeson’s frequent stunt double, the veteran stunt professional Mark Vanselow, and produced by Code Entertainment (Ice Road), the film will see Neeson playing Ryan “Fang” Flanagan, “a war hero who, accused of a crime he didn’t commit and with nothing to lose, leads police on an epic televised cross-country car chase, helped by members of his former Special Forces Army battalion and closely monitored by a fascinated public rooting for his safe getaway.”

“We are so very fortunate to be able to make another picture with the extraordinary Liam Neeson and the enormously talented Mark Vanselow,” said Al Corley and Bart Rosenblatt, who are producing for Code Enetrtainment. “We look forward to another creative journey with our partners and friends.”
