Lili Reinhart is pulled into the dark web in trailer for American Sweatshop

Brainstorm Media has released a trailer, poster and images for American Sweatshop, the upcoming mystery thriller which marks the feature directorial debut for Uta Briesewitz.

Riverdale’s Lili Reinhart stars as Daisy, a social media moderator tasked with removing offensive content; however, when her manager refuses to let her report a video to the police which she believes contains a brutal crime, she sets out on a dangerous mission to hold the person responsible for the video accountable.

Joining Reinhart in the cast are Daniela Melchior, Jeremy Ang Jones, Josh Whitehouse, Tim Plester, Christiane Paul, and Joel Fry. Check out the trailer below…

A social media moderator (Lili Reinhart) is tasked with purging the most offensive content from the internet. When she finds a video she believes to contain a crime, she’s lured away from the safety of her keyboard and into a dangerous world as she obsessively seeks to hold someone accountable.

American Sweatshop arrives in cinemas on September 19th.
