Mads Mikkelsen Nordic western The Promised Land gets new poster

Ahead of its theatrical release this February, a new poster has arrived online for Nikolaj Arcel’s Nordic western The Promised Land featuring Mads Mikkelsen as the impoverished captain Ludvig Kahlen; take a look here…

In 1755, the impoverished Captain Ludvig Kahlen sets out to conquer the uninhabitable Danish heath in the name of the King. But the sole ruler of the area, the merciless Frederik de Schinkel, who believes the land belongs to him, swears revenge when the maid Ann Barbara and her serf husband escape for refuge with Kahlen.

Featuring in the cast of The Promised Land are Mads Mikkelsen, Amanda Collin, Simon Bennebjerg, Kristine Kujath Thorp, and Gustav Lindh.

The Promised Land arrives in select cinemas on February 2nd.
