Mark Wahlberg to lead comedy Instant Family

Mark Wahlberg is set to reunite with Daddy’s Home director Sean Anders for the Paramount Pictures comedy Instant Family, Variety has revealed.

Scripted by Anders and his frequent collaborator John Morris, the filmfollows a couple who decide to start a family and adopt through the foster-care system, only to find themselves raising three wild kids who have no interest in being parented. Paramount is said to be looking to fast track the project, and hopes to shoot it next year.

Wahlberg, Anders and Morris next team on the comedy sequel Daddy’s Home 2, which is set for release on November 10th 2017 and features a cast that also includes Will Ferrell, Mel Gibson, John Lithgow, Linda Cardellini and John Cena. Watch the trailer here.
