Marvel celebrates Halloween with the return of Crypt of Shadows

July 21, 2022 by Gary Collinson

Marvel has announced that it will celebrate Spooky Season this year by taking True Believers on a trip to the darkest corners of the Marvel Universe with the special Halloween one-shot Crypt of Shadows. Check out the official details here…

Paying homage to the original Crypt of Shadows anthology series, the giant-sized one-shot will feature supernatural adventures with the likes of Moon Knight, Wolverine, Elsa Bloodstone, Morbius, Man-Thing and Werewolf by Night, along with the return of Bloodline, the recently-introduced daughter of Blade.

Among the stories is a new tale from Marvel editor Chris Cooper featuring Morbius and Victoria Montesi, while other contributors include Al Ewing, Danny Lore, Rebecca Roanhorse, Adam Warren, Chris Condon, Karen S. Darboe, Geoff Shaw, Ibrahim Moustafa, and more.

The heroes of the Marvel Universe spend most of their time in the bright sun, flying high above it all…but every once in a while, they venture into the darkness that lurks in the hidden corners of the world. There lurk the creatures, the monsters, the vampires…the ones who prey on innocence and goodness…
