Marvel’s Andy Park shares Kate Bishop concept art from Hawkeye TV series

August 6, 2020 by Gary Collinson

We caught a glimpse of this last year on the Marvel Studios: Expanding the Universal special on Disney+, and now Marvel’s director of visual development Andy Park has shared a high-resolution version of his concept art for the character of Kate Bishop in the Hawkeye TV series.

I hear some people are having MCU withdrawals. I feel ya. Waiting is tough I know! Here’s a little something- a concept design illustration I did for the upcoming Hawkeye @disneyplus show. After months of radio silence on the project, Hawkeye recently enlisted Dance Camp and Troop Zero’s Bert and Bertie (a.k.a. Amber Finlayson and Katie Ellwood) and Rhys Thomas (Staten Island Summer, Comrade Detective) as directors on the series, which has Jonathan Igla (Mad Men, Pitch) attached as writer and as showrunner.

Jeremy Renner is on board to reprise his role as Clint Barton alongside the aforementioned Kate Bishop – a role which officially remains uncast, although Hailee Steinfeld (Bumblebee) has been heavily linked to the part, schedule permitting. As yet, however, that is unconfirmed.
