Marvel’s Empyre gets a new trailer

March 16, 2020 by Gary Collinson

Marvel launches its intergalactic crossover event Empyre this April, and the publisher has now given fans a sneak peek at the hotly-anticipated series with the release of a new trailer featuring Executive Editor Tom Brevoort and writers Al Ewing and Dan Slott.

“If you’re a longtime Marvel reader, this is going to pay off so many big things,” states Slott. “If you’re a Marvel reader who started yesterday, welcome to the rich legacy of the Marvel Universe.”

“This is going to change things forever both in terms of the architecture of Marvel space, the vast cosmic politics of it all but also in this really intense, emotional, personal level,” adds Ewing. “I’d be astonished if anyone guesses what we got coming.”

The Kree and the Skrulls have united under a new emperor – and their war fleet is on a collision course for our world. On the moon, the Avengers are ready to strike with the full power of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Approaching from outer space, the Fantastic Four are seeking a diplomatic solution. If the two teams can’t work together to save the day, things can only get worse…

Empyre #1 will go on sale on April 15th 2020.
