Meet the Kandarian Demon in the new trailer for Evil Dead: The Game

March 10, 2022 by Andrew Newton

Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games have released a brand new trailer for Evil Dead: The Game that reveals the gameplay of the dreaded Kandarian Demon.  Narrated by Bruce Campbell, this new trailer shows the devastating abilities that this evil and horrifying force can unleash upon the living.  You can watch this new trailer below…

The Kandarian Demon is a nightmarish being of pure evil and is a creature to be feared, especially with its terrifying possession powers and an army of darkness at its command.  As this demon, players will be able to hunt down other players themselves or command Deadites to attack them, it’s also possible to take control of these Deadite minions.  When it comes to powers of possession, the Kandarian Demon can take control of environmental objects, such as the trees, and even the survivors themselves.  Players will be able to choose the physical form of their Kandarian Demon to one that fits their playstyle, each with different enemy types and bosses including Henrietta, Eligos and Evil Ash.

Inspired by the iconic Evil Dead franchise, Evil Dead: The Game brings all the iconic humour, action and horror that fans have come to love.  It will feature the biggest characters from the franchise, including Ash, Kelly Maxwell, Pablo Simon Bolivar, Scotty, Lord Arthur and more, together for some over-the-top gory action against the forces of darkness.  There’s more than 25 hard-hitting weapons to fight with and various skill trees to use to bolster abilities in multiplayer and bonus single-player missions.

Evil Dead: The Game releases on 13th May on Xbox and Playstation consoles and PC via the Epic Games Store.  Pre-orders are available now with those who do gaining two bonus Ash outfits: the Ash Williams S-Mart Employee Outfit and Ash Williams Gallant Knight Outfit. There will also be a Deluxe Edition which will include the Season Pass 1, featuring four DLC packs.
