Michael Beach joins Warner Bros.’ Aquaman movie

June 22, 2017 by Gary Collinson

Warner Bros. has announced that Michael Beach (The 100) has joined the cast of the DC Extended Universe solo movie Aquaman, which is currently shooting in Australia under director James Wan.

According to Deadline, Beach is portraying the character of Jesse Kane, who is said to be part of a group of high-seas hijackers who has a fateful interaction with Jason Momoa’s Aquaman. However, speculation is suggesting that he could be playing the father of Yahya Abdul-Mateen II’s Black Manta, who in the comic books is inadvertently killed by Arthur Curry, sending the villain on a vindictive spree as he seeks revenge.
