Michael Gross signs on for Tremors 7

December 16, 2018 by Gary Collinson

The Kevin Bacon-headlined sequel series may have failed to make it to the screen, but it seems we’re getting the next best thing as actor Michael Gross has revealed that he’s signed on to reprise the role of Burt Gummer for a seventh instalment in the Tremors movie franchise.

“Tremors fans will be delighted to know I have just agreed to the terms of a contract for a SEVENTH film,” wrote Gross on Facebook (via Bloody Disgusting). “My best estimate is that Burt Gummer will begin his hunt for Graboids and other nefarious forms of wildlife in the fall of 2019.”

Gross has portrayed the character of Burt in all six Tremors movies, the last of which – Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell – was released earlier this year. You can read our review of the film here.
