Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn returning for A Bad Moms Christmas

December 24, 2016 by Gary Collinson

Back in October, STX Entertainment announced its plans to turn the hit comedy Bad Moms into a franchise, revealing that development was underway on a spinoff entitled Bad Dads.

Well, we can now add a direct sequel into the mix, with Deadline reporting that stars Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn are set to reunite with writer-directors Jon Lucas and Scott Moore on A Bad Moms Christmas.

“This is a brand that has enormous goodwill all over the world, so expanding and extending the Bad Moms franchise in an authentic and irreverent way has been a priority for our team,,” said Adam Fogelson, Chairman of the STX Entertainment Motion Picture Group. “Jon and Scott have a truly hysterical story that was pure perfection. Mila, Kristen and Kathryn are excited to re-team, and we will move forward with A Bad Moms Christmas on a similar time table and in much the same way in which we produced the original.”

The sequel will see the three friends struggling to cope with the stresses of the festive period as their own mothers visit for the holidays.
