My Friend Pedro launch trailer brings blood, bullets and bananas

June 19, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Devolver Digital and developer Deadtoast have released the launch trailer for their shoot ’em up puzzler My Friend Pedro ahead of the game’s release tomorrow on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.  Check out the new trailer below…

In this highly anticipated shoot ’em up players will follow the orders of a sentient banana, the titular Pedro, as they journey through a violent criminal underworld obliterating anyone in their path.  Players will be able to control both their weapons and their body and there will also be the ability to use split aiming, slow motion and twist in the air to shoot enemies and create one explosive action sequence after another.

Those who create excellent over-the-top sequences can then use the game’s automated gif generator to easily share clips over social media.

My Friend Pedro is a violent ballet about friendship, imagination, and one man’s struggle to obliterate anyone in his path at the behest of a sentient banana. The strategic use of split aiming, slow motion, and the ol’ stylish window breach create one sensational action sequence after another in an explosive battle through the violent underworld.

My Friend Pedro will be available on the Nintendo eShop and Steam for PC tomorrow.
