With less than a month to go until the premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Disney+ has released nine new images from the upcoming Marvel Studios series featuring Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp).
The first image of Sam holding the shield in what looks like it could be Peggy Carter’s house has prompted plenty of speculation that we might see Chris Evans’ Old Steve passing away in the series. However, it’s worth remembering that Captain America is featured in the ‘In Memoriam’ video tribute at the beginning of Spider-Man: Far From Home, and so perhaps the Avengers have kept Steve’s true fate to themselves and this is more a memorial than funeral?
