Qooland Games has announced they will be launching the next major playtest for their new sci-fi MMO Warborne Above Ashes on 24th April. This playtest will allow players to experience the massive battlefield and deep faction warfare. MMO fans are now able to sign up for the playtest via the game’s Steam page. A new trailer can be seen below showcasing what players can expect later this month.
Warborne Above Ashes had a hugely successful playtest in March, where over 50,000 players took part in mighty battles. This April’s playtest will bring more epic battles to players for a whole month as all six factions have now been unlocked and an expanded warzone has been introduced.
The upcoming playtest will push large-scale warfare to the next level for players, with a full map that expands the battlefield, complete with key strategic locations that will become a focal point for warbands and factions to fight over.
Players will have six unique factions to choose from, each of which have their own traits and buffs. There will be the opportunities to forge alliances, form friendly rivalries or even develop feared adversaries. There will be a wide range of vehicles, Drifters and weaponry for players to choose from, as well as offensive and defensive buildings to utilise and enhance tactics.
There are options for players to fight solo as mercenaries or in a squad as a tightly-knit team. Whatever way you choose to fight, there will be a whole month of continuous warfare to enjoy.
