HBO Max’s hit medical drama The Pitt has released its first teaser for the upcoming third season, showing Noah Wyle’s Dr. Robby return to the pitt after his months-long sabbatical. Watch the teaser below…

The Pitt follows the day crew of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Centre’s ER department taking place in near real-time across their 15-hour shift. The third season will take place on November 12th, the day after Veteran’s Day and a couple weeks before Thanksgiving on Robby’s first day back to the pitt.
The teaser comes ahead of the 78th Emmy Awards on September 14th, which The Pitt holds 25 nominations including Outstanding Drama Series as well as 13 acting nominations. It leads the pack of nominees for a single show holding the most nominations this year, especially in those acting categories.
Starring alongside Wyle are Patrick Ball (Dr. Langdon), Katherine LaNasa (Dana Evans), Fiona Dourif (Dr. McKay), Taylor Dearden (Dr. King), Isa Briones (Dr. Santos), Gerran Howell (Dr. Whitaker), Shabana Azeez (Javadi), Ayesha Harris (Dr. Ellis), Sepideh Moafi (Dr. Al-Hashimi) and Shawn Hatosy (Dr. Abbot).
New additions to the third season include Stephen Chang (Bosch: Legacy), Barry Clifton (The Madison), Chris Diamantopoulos (Dark Matter), Lawrence Kao (Criminal), Brent Sexton (The Madison), JB Tadena (The Adventures of Cliff Booth) and Hannah Ware (The First) as a mix of new patients and doctors. They join fellow newcomers Pruitt Taylor Vince (Superman), Malachi Beasley (A House of Dynamite), Cheyenne Perez (The Sex Lives of College Girls), Jeremy Radin (The Plan), Charlz Williams (The Family Business) and Rosanny Zayas (The Upshaws).
