With the fifth season of Only Murders in the Building having concluded yesterday, the mystery comedy series has been renewed for a sixth season and will head overseas to London for the trio’s next case.
The latest season followed Charles, Oliver and Mabel investigating the death of their trusty doorman Lester which tied into a secret casino underneath the Arconia with the involvement of the mob, city officials and three billionaires. Guest stars this season featured Bobby Cannavale, Beanie Feldstein, Jermaine Fowler, Keegan-Michael Key, Renée Zellweger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz and Téa Leoni.
As per Only Murders tradition, the final moments of yesterday’s season finale teased their next case as the victim died literally on their doorstep. The series’ social media announced the renewal with a poster that revealed the case would take them to London. This isn’t the first time an investigation has led them outside the Arconia as the third season brought them to LA, but crossing the Atlantic is definitely new and sure to create all new hijinks for the podcasting trio.
