Overwatch is celebrating the 2020 Lunar New Year with some brand new rewards. All players on Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC who log in before 6th February will be able to collect a variety of cosmetic items, including new skins, emotes, highlight intros, player icons, sprays, to add to their collections. The Year of the Rat seasonal event features the Capture the Flag Blitz game mode. This modified version of capture the flag places flags much closer to each other than usual and instead of three captures, players will need six.
The event also sees the return of Weekly Challenges which allow players to unlock limited-time rewards by winning nine games. These rewards include a variety of icons, sprays and Epic skins.
New cosmetic items available during the event include:
- 4 Legendary skins: Opera Brigitte, Face Changer Sombra, Mask Dancer Moira, Samul Nori Lucio.
- 3 Epic skins.
- Player icons.
- Emotes.
- Sprays.
Ring in the new year on the objective! For a limited time, celebrate with your favorite heroes in the 2020 Overwatch Lunar New Year event and earn new skins, emotes, highlight intros, player icons, sprays, and more. Plus, play limited-time game modes, including the new-for-2020 brawl: Capture-the-Flag Blitz.
