Plane Mechanic Simulator lands on Steam Early Access on Thursday

February 3, 2019 by Andrew Newton

Developer Disaster Studio has announced that Plane Mechanic Simulator will be released on Steam Early Access on 7th February.  To coincide with the announcement, the developers have released an early access trailer showcasing some of the work that can be done on the aircraft, check this out below.

Plane Mechanic Simulator takes the player back to the Second World War and places them in the role of a ground crew technician for the wonderful RAF at the start of the Battle of Britain.  There will be a variety of different tasks to complete that range from simple refueling to more challenging engine repairs and gun harmonization, in total there are almost 800 parts to tinker with.

Would be technicians will be expected to become familiar with 3 legendary British aircraft that have been meticulously recreated.  These are the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.1, the De Havilland Tiger Moth and the De Havilland Mosquito.

The game will also feature a unique campaign that will see players assigned to a squadron to take care of a particular plane and pilot.  Fail to take care of the aircraft properly and there’s a chance the pilot won’t return but do well and he could become an ace.

Plane Mechanic Simulator will be on Steam Early Access on 7th February
