August 20, 2020 by Andrew Newton

On 25th August Planet Zoo will take players down under with the new Australia Pack DLC, which will be available on Steam for £7.99 / $9.99 / €9.99.  This pack will feature 5 brand new animals and more Aussie inspired foliage, scenery and zoo construction pieces than you can shake a stick at.  Watch the new trailer below to see more of the content inspired by the beautiful land down under.

With the Planet Zoo: Australia Pack DLC players can add 5 iconic animals from Australia to their zoo, build up fantastic exhibits around the adorable Koala, the Red Kangaroo, the proud Southern Cassowary, the Eastern Blue-Tongued Lizard and the renowned Dingo.  Players can hone their zoology skills to ensure the health and wellbeing of these new creatures.

Australia also has a wealth of stunning flora and the new DLC introduces a variety of it that budding zoologists can use to decorate their enclosures and make the zoo look much more attractive to visitors.  There are also a range of eye-catching zoo construction pieces that can be used that captures the beauty of Australian architecture.

The DLC also introduces brand new timed scenarios which will allow players to put their skills to the test as they race to complete objectives within a time limit.

Alongside the release of the Australia Pack there will be a free content update for all players that includes new genetics-driven animal colour variations, more streamlined management of staff, new foliage and enrichment items plus additional fixes and improvements.

Get ready to add these exciting new creatures and features to your zoo on 25th August.
