September 25, 2024 by Andrew Newton

IllFonic Inc., along with 20th Century Games has announced that their hit asymmetrical shooter, Predator: Hunting Grounds, will be coming to Playstation 5 and Xbox X|S on 1st October.  Previously available only on PS4 and PC, this shooter takes players into the Predator universe to give fans a chance to bag their own ugly moth…..

With Predator: Hunting Grounds, be transported into the world of the Predator in an immersive asymmetrical shooter that puts you into the world of either an elite special forces team member of as the Predator himself. As a member of the Fireteam, players will embark on paramilitary operations and will need to finish these before the Predator finds you.  The Predator’s role is much simpler, choose from a vast array of deadly alien tech to hunt down and kill the Fireteam and then collect the trophies to display as tokens of the hunt. However, the tables can be turned and the Predator can be the hunted one.

There will be three digital editions available:

  • Standard Edition includes the base game with the bonus of the Feral Predator equipped with his Crossbolt Gun, Combistick and Shield.
  • Jungle Edition includes the above with the addition of the following bonus Predators – City Hunter (’97), Samurai, Valkyrie and Viking, all of which are equipped with their own weaponry.
  • Yautja Edition is the ultimate edition for fans with all the above content and almost all DLC Predators – Bionic Predator, Cleopatra, Emissary, Exiled, Wolf, Hunting Party (Captured, Falconer and Mr. Black Predators,) Hunting Party 2 (Amazon and Pirate Predators), Hunting Party 3 (Celtic, Chopper and Scar Predators) all equipped with custom weaponry.
