Rampage adds two more actors to its cast

March 15, 2017 by Robert Kojder

One of the many video game adaptations in the pipeline is Rampage, which is essentially an arcade experience where players pick from one of three different monsters and destroy the world city by city. So far, it also has the luxury of featuring Dwayne Johnson in the leading role.

Recently, we’ve had quite a lot of casting news for the movie and now Variety is reporting that Jack Quaid (Vinyl) and Matt Gerald (Daredevil) have joined the film. There are still no details on the actual plot yet, but most of the characters are different scientists of sorts, so one could perhaps expect something regarding an experiment gone completely wrong that must be contained by special forces.

Rampage will reunite Johnson with his Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and San Andreas director Brad Peyton, while the cast so far includes Naomie Harris (Moonlight), Joe Manganiello (True Blood), Marley Shelton (Solace), Jake Lacy (The Office), Breanne Hill (Incarnate), P.J. Byrne (Big Little Lies), Jack Quaid (Vinyl) and Matt Gerald (Daredevil). Ryan Engle, Carlton Cuse and Ryan Condal have all worked on the script in some capacity, but Adam Sztykiel wrote the most recent version of it.

If you want to see more of Dwayne Johnson, he can be seen in theaters next month in The Fate of the Furious.
