Reacher spin-off Neagley renewed for second season

October 2, 2026 by Ricky Church

After premiering its first season just a couple of weeks ago, Prime Video has officially renewed the Reacher spin-off Neagley for a second season.

The series follows Maria Sten’s Frances Neagley, a former colleague of Jack Reacher’s who has become a private investigator. She was introduced in Reacher‘s second season and returned in the third season before Prime ordered her own spin-off after she rose in popularity. The news of Neagley‘s renewal comes a few days after the streaming service announced Reacher will be coming back for a sixth season. The fifth season is currently in production in Toronto.

Neagley was created by Nick Santora and Nicholas Wooten who both serve as showrunners. The first season saw Neagley investigate the death of a friend who may have actually been murdered and uses the skills Reacher taught her to uncover the killer and whatever they are hiding. The cast also features Greyston Holt as Detective Hudson Riley, Adeline Rudolph as Renee Birdwhistle, Jasper Jones as Keno, Matthew Del Negro as Pierce Woodrow, and Damon Herriman as Lawrence Cole, with a guest appearance from Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher.

“Audiences around the world have embraced Frances Neagley as a force all her own,” said Peter Friedlander, head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. “Maria Sten delivers a commanding, layered performance that drives every episode, and Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton have built a world that is both thrilling and compelling.”

Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) is a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson) in the Army’s 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.
