Replay Events to launch the Primark Retrogaming clothing line in Manchester this Saturday

Retrogaming is no longer the quiet love of the collector.  Pac-Man, Dig Dug and Horace Goes Skiing are no longer adored just by us middle-aged adults who carefully boxed everything away as kids, no these days everyone loves a bit of Mr. Do here or Jet Set Willy there.  It’s because of this surge in love for classic gaming that clothing giant Primark are set to launch a new line of retrogaming inspired shirts and tops, at its flagship Manchester store this Saturday, with Replay Events making sure this launch is extra special.  You can check out a few of the designs below…

Wear your skills on your sleeve with Primark’s new line-up of sweet, sweet gaming merch. From Super Mario to PAC-MAN and Duck Shoot to Sonic, the entire old-school console crew is here.

To launch the new clothing line Primark is holding a Primark Arcade event in the flagship Manchester store this weekend where you can check out Primark’s very own retro arcade showcasing the best of games including PAC-MAN, Space Invaders and Donkey Kong.

Fancy a play, a gaming contest or wondered how you become PAC-MAN world champion? Jon Stoodley, the PAC-MAN world record holder, will be on hand to offer top-tips on how to play the ‘perfect PAC-MAN game’. Other special guests include retro gaming content creators Nostalgia Nerd, Kim Justice, Slopes and Octav1us Kitten. Come and join the fun on Saturday May 12th from 1pm to 3pm. But hurry the Primark Arcade is only there till Sunday!

The Primark Retro Arcade has been created in conjunction with specialist retro games company Replay Events with arcade cabinets supplied by Retro Games Party.. The Replay Events team are responsible for staging some of the UK’s biggest gaming shows including the PLAY Expo events in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Leeds and Blackpool.
